(2017) SF Michael Porter Jr. to Washington

Recommended Posts

Washington has had some pretty good recruiting classes recently I believe. They just can't get guys to stay long enough to put together a contender.

Basically. They've pulled in done good talent. But I guess something about the place makes people leave early.

Dang, I really hope we didn't pay more attention to Michael Porter in the first place because some of the in-state 2017 kids weren't feeling the vibe as strongly.

Just gotta go harder after Wilkes/Jackson/Williams now.

Lol.. Why even have a top 5? Might as well commit to Washington already.

I mean, why commit now? A lot can change over the course of a season. Maybe his dad is out before he would even get to campus. Don't get why people are so quick to close the book on something that is still so far away.

"WHY AREN'T WE EVER IN ON THE TOP RECRUITS IN THE COUNTRY?!"

Well, here you go!

^^This^^, plus, with the sad state of Mizzou, his home state school, it's really a top four.

I'd rather win at least. Haven't had a Top 5 recruit since Eric Gordon. And with how good he was.. I don't see why anyone would be against going all in on at least one top recruit each class.

Sooo...what recruiting 'tactics' would advise to "go all-in" on a top five recruit in a way that we have not been trying?
