Per Indiana Release:

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana sophomore running back Tevin Colemanearned Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors, the conference announced Monday. The accolade is the first of Coleman's career and the first for a Hoosiers running back since Levron Williams on Nov. 12, 2001.

Coleman finished with a career-high 215 yards on just 15 carries, a 14.3 average, with a career-long 75 yard touchdown, the program's longest rush since 2009, in addition to a 64-yarder in the team's win over Illinois. He posted his second straight 100-yard game and became the first IU running back with back-to-back 100-yarders since BenJarvus Green-Ellis in 2003. Green-Ellis was also the last Hoosier to reach 200 yards.

The Tinley Park, Ill., native leads the B1G with 12 rushing scores (T-7th nationally), is second in all-purpose yards (1,275, 18th), all-purpose yards per game (141.7, 19th), total TDs (12, T-12th), scoring per game (8.0) and yards per carry (7.3, 17th), and is third in rushing yards (958, 20th) and rushing yards per game (106.4, 20th).

His 958 rushing yards are the most for an Indiana running back since Williams (1,401) in 2001, his 12 rushing touchdowns are tied for eighth on IU's single-season list and his nine-game scoring streak is tied for the second-longest in school history (Anthony Thompson 12).

Coleman is tied for second nationally in 60-plus yard rushing plays (3), first in 50-plus yarders (5), first in 40-plus yarders (8), second in 30-plus yarders (9) and tied for third in 20-plus yarders (14) this year.

Stephen Houston joined Coleman with his second 100-yard game in as many weeks. It is the first time in Hoosiers history the same running back duo has recorded back-to-back 100-yard games. Indiana finished the game with 371 rushing yards, its most since 2001 (at Michigan State on Nov. 10).

Very deserving. Didn't he hurt an ankle Saturday ? I was wondering if we had any information as to the extent of the injury.

Wilson said he's most likely not going to play this weekend, but they will evaluate him later on this week.
