Raptors 905 announced Friday it has acquired forward Christian Watford and a third-round pick in the 2017 NBA D-League Draft from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in exchange for forward Jarrod Uthoff. The deal is pending physicals from both players. 

Watford, 6-foot-9, 220 pounds, averaged 5.9 points and 2.4 rebounds in 20 games with the Mad Ants this season.  The Alabama native has played in 53 games in the D-League with Maine, Reno and Fort Wayne.

Christian Watford (@Cwat205) and Eberlein Drive won today to advance to the semifinals of The Basketball Tournament. The winning team gets $2 million to split.  They're among the last four alive for the grand prize and play next on Aug 2 in Baltimore.
