Boxing is the art of hitting more than getting hit. Something Floyd is a master at. People who paid all of this money to watch Floyd dance and clinch whenever he was getting hurt have every right to be disappointed. But they should have known better too. Floyd isn't going to change the way he fights ( or doesn't fight) just because the pay per view price is higher. He'll never change his style, until he retires. It's amazing the way that he can avoid contact. It's extremely boring the way he avoids standing toe to toe. He would have lost standing toe to toe with manny. He showed you that every time he got hit in the ropes. His defensive ability is incredible. His offensive ability is virtually nonexistent. He'll land just enough to earn a decision. That's always been his way. He is one of the best fighters of his generation, in spite of his running and hugging to stay out of contact. He is not one of the best ever, because of it. It is laughable to consider him in class with sugar Ray Robinson and Ali, and not even really the great welter middle weights of the 80's.

Floyd Mayweather told ESPN's Stephen A. Smith in a text Tuesday that he would be open to a rematch after Manny Pacquiao recovers from shoulder surgery to repair a tear in his rotator cuff.

Doubt it happens. Nobody would buy it again. Needs to be Khan next

Anybody see the Canelo vs Kirkland fight this past Saturday? Now that was an exciting match! both boxers going toe-to-toe and leaving everything inside the ring. Even though it lasted only three rounds, it was way more exciting than the Mayweather-Pac fight AND it was free (if you have HBO at least). Check out the highlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LehQX1bbGQk
