100% of doctors “Clinical Trials are important in developing vaccines”

Yet people on the internet still think they know better

Not talking about a vaccine.  Talking about a treatment that has been working overseas.  But whatever.

The FDA is killing us.  They are waiting for "the science" regarding treatment.  There is enough evidence to try the malaria drugs.  Get it done, NOW.

The economic devastation will be worse than the virus.  We are fkd.

They're also saying that malaria drug is lethal after just 2 grams.

I mean people want to say that this should have been taken care of in early January, but as of mid January, WHO was told by the Chinese government that the virus wasn’t contagious. All of this is because of the lying and incompetence of the Chinese government because they really don’t care about anyone. They were reporting 3000 cases when it was probably close to 100,000. Even now we have no idea who has it or has had it and didn’t even know. But I don’t the first case was in February. It was likely well before then.

I almost never agree with YOU...but on this, yep.  I do.  And when this is over?  China has hell to pay.   The world is working together to beat the virus, and they'll work like hell to change the hold China has on the world.  The deceit and lying has now been exposed, as has their cavalier attitude toward humanity.  Welcome to socialism.   Personally?  There was a weird, funky non-flu, but worse than a cold-like "thing" that went through Indiana just after Christmas.   I think (Spidey-sense) this thing has been around for a while, and I think today's version is a mutation.

The cost of the economic support plans being thrown around are frightening. Trillions! The economic costs of the war on this virus scares me every bit as much as the virus itself, maybe more. Massive unplanned for government expenditures during rapidly declining revenues cannot be sustained. In shutting down the country we have effectively shutdown the economy. I hope we start opening things up sooner than later.

Btw the malaria med rumor was apparently started by somebody claiming it was working in China and France.

So let’s take a look one is a repressive Regime and the other is on the exact same curve as Italy and Spain. So yeah don’t really think the treatment works anymore than the Iranian toxic alcohol drinking treatment.

10 days later and the hospitals are fine, even in California, Washington, and New York. We have to start our country back up in a few weeks. People will start defying the government at some point once the bills start piling up. They're not going to accept financial ruin for a virus that isn't a threat to them.

I had what you’re referencing probably 4 weeks ago and wondered the same thing myself. Many of the COVID-like symptoms down to shortness of breath. Hadn’t ever had anything like it, but never felt like I was in real danger either. Either way that was not a very fun week and a half.

Proof the hospitals are fine?  Because my sisters dental office was called by several hospitals asking if they had any Ppe to spare?

I live in Cass County, Indiana who just went to Orange Level travel advisory today with no confirmed cases in the county. Business and traffic seem to be moving as normal. Just weird seeing parking lots of business empty during the week.

I've seen the same thing said by a lot of people in other states too. If I was a betting man, I would bet that coronavirus has absolutely been in the US throughout the winter.

I’m almost betting I had it in January. Overcome with a super bad headache, fever, and sore throat for a few days and felt like there was a ton of bricks on my chest. No nausea.

Almost everyone throughout social media talking about how their hospitals are like ghost towns because they've suspended everything in anticipation of the virus. Every twitter alarmist thread is filled with dozens of people talking about how they're wrong and things are not overrun.

Glad the malaria medicine might be decent for preventing something. It didn’t do **** to prevent me from getting malaria. It was great for some wicked vivid dreams though.

I had something back in January that I passed off as a cold but coughing stuck around for a little while.  Not sure it was this but seemed different than other colds I've had.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was already over here.

This sounds crazy but I had something earlier this winter. It was just a cough and a headache. I really do believe that it has been here.
