Correct. No need to edit. It’s fine. People should be able to figure it out with the context surrounding it.

1 win shouldn’t change your mind and to be honest if you have felt that way about him like I know you have and some others have from the beginning probably no amount of wins this year will change your mind.
I believe some are in a hard spot where they can’t even enjoy the wins when they happen. Question becomes what’s it going to take for those people to completely cut bait until a change is made? While that might be the hardest thing for some to do it just might be the best alternative. I’m talking completing cutting bait not just saying something is unacceptable and continue to keep watching and coming on a message board talking about it

There is a certain type of play and change that would change my mind. But that’s not going to happen. Archie won’t change his system and the players aren’t going to care. And they’ve showed that for 3 years now.

So, do you want an offensive specialist or a player development coach? I thought Schilling was one of the best player development guys? May be this is on the players. All during Crean’s tenure everyone wanted to say he had nothing to do with guys getting better, it was all the players work ethic, now many of those same people want to blame Archie for guys like Green, Smith and Durham not getting better (which isn’t really true, as much as Green and Durham frustrate me, they have improved).

This loss was 100% on the players. Their effort was good and we played hard, but at some point a power 5 basketball player has to sack up and make a shot.

The offense, while definitely limited because of our personnel, got a ton of wide open shots tonight. At some point guys have to make them, Archie can’t shoot them for them.

Schilling was not reallyl a player development guy.  His role was supposed to be primary recruiter in state, but the further he got away from his own AAU connections, the less role he had.

I am amazed at 2 things :

1)  DeVonte Green.  15 minutes, no points, no rebounds, no assists, no steals, 0-4 from the field, 2 turnovers, and a foul.  There's your senior, ladies and gentlemen.  I'm very done with him.  Addition by subtraction.  In total?  Our seniors played 20 minutes and, on the positive side of the ledger, had a rebound.  That's...it.   By itself that gives me hope that this is the last of the clean out seasons and we can move forward from here.  Good Lord, that's awful.  I don't know that I can name a worse senior Indiana's ever had than Green.  This team needs him.  Counts on him.  And he plays 3 horrid games for every decent one.   And if some say I was waiting to pounce?  Whatever.  I would have been just as happy to give the kid credit.  But he's terrible.

2)  To your point, I really don't blame Archie for the fact we can't shoot.  I don't know what or who to blame, but we can't shoot.  At all.   We got 11 more FGA's than they did.  We made more FT's.  We out-rebounded them, by one overall and by 6 on the offensive end.  We allowed 59 points.  That's enough to win.  But we made 19 FG's in 40 minutes.  11 by Brunk and Smith.  Offensive system problem, yes. But we can't throw it in the ocean.   I promise I personally know 10 coaches who could help, but it's an off season thing.

Archie Miller needs a Joe Brady in his life.

Though the defense is troubling too. Effort helps a lot, but the hedges and leaving of shooters open is killer. Rutgers torched us multiple times because we can’t defend a pick and roll and hedge too far.

I'm not into nitpicking.  Indiana allowed 54 points on Saturday, 59 tonight, and 62 to Northwestern.  That's good enough to win anywhere, any time.   Rutgers only made four 3's, so I don't think that killed us.  I think our inability to shoot/score did.  Our defense plays well enough to win, now, and you can always find details to be upset with.

Well Rutgers isn’t a good offensive team. And they aren’t a good shooting team. Yet their offense had more room to work than ours. Our defense struggles mainly because players are so inconsistent with effort. But the hedging, especially from Brunk, and 3pt defense still need tweaked. The defense can be way better if players would hustle and pay attention to detail.

I'd say that's technically correct, but I'd add two qualifiers.  Regarding our defense, when Rutgers scored they did so with relative ease.  We played well for much of the shot clock in any given stance until we didn't, and then they feasted.  Regarding our offense, there were too many possessions without any movement inside the three point line. As a result we rarely feasted.  I'd give their coaching staff an A for that game, and ours an F.  Which is all the more frustrating given that a win was within the reach of a few made threes.

There's an equal but opposite reaction after wins from the pumpers.  What a fractured fanbase we've become

Better put my my force field here, but CAM can coach. He knows the game, he know how to manage clock, he knows who his glue guys are and he can recruit. We're awful accusatory of a guy who was left with CTC's leftovers, a bunch of kids who don't care and a VERY depleted program. Kids don't want to play at IU they way they used to. They want to play at Louisville..at Memphis...at UK...at MSU. Archie has to reverse that and it's not going to happen over night. He would have cleaned house and started from scratch if he could have, but he couldn't. His hands were tied. So he does the best with the hand he was dealt. He can't even get rid of guys so just have to deal with this until next year. Also, for everyone who chirps about how Butler has really put it together...look at their program last year. And look at who they have played this year. Yesterday was their first tough game other than Purdue, and they took it on the chin at home. And Dayton...who recruited those players and for what reason???  Yep.Better put my my force field here, but CAM can coach. Right, so I think what USPS is saying what will it take for you to stop watching, stop coming on here, stop everything with IU basketball?

In an IndyStar article they pointed out that in Miller's 3 years our 3pt shooting has gotten worse each year.  And on his show Miller called the criticism "BS"; nothing changes if nothing changes and if he thinks whatever they're doing is working then he's either dense or blind.

Not so shocking stat:

Sharp shooting Guard Damezi Anderson is 15 of 63 from 3 in an IU uniform.

Anderson committing before Henry is another one of those what could have beens that is killing me. Henry shooting 50% from FG and almost 40% from 3pt range. I think we all expected more from Anderson at this point....
