Plenty of blame to go around, not on all Allen or one person. IU did give this game away, no excusing that, and while I’m extremely disappointed with the result IU is in a much better spot because of CTA!

No it wasn’t 

Went to conservative mode on offense when we could have cut their throat and then let them fly down the field when we went into prevent defense with about 6 minutes to go. Reminiscent of the MSU game. And....we weren’t prepared for the onside kick and made extremely poor use of out timeouts (think we used two tonight to ice our own kicker...lol).

They just said that teams that trailed by 13 with 5 minutes to go were 0-471 this year. Now it’s 1-471.

Bigger picture we won 8 and played a bowl game in Florida. I would have taken that in a minute when the season started.

He missed a FG and a GIMMIE XP.

 

He failed.

If he makes the XP and misses the FG it’s tied.

 

He missed both.

This was our best season in decades.  This program is trending up.

Who ices their own kicker? Who call a timeout while your RB is running it in for a TD? Who mismanages the clock at the end of the half costing a play to the end zone? Who doesnt have the hands team on the field up 6? what else am I missing?

FG was a 52 yarder so not on him at all. Plus he was basically iced multiple times. The XP hurt but we were still up 13 with 5 minutes to go and allowed them to score twice. The onside kick imo was one of a number of head scratching blunders by CTA on the night. That and piss poor clock management/use of timeouts. He certaintly had a game to forget.
