SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
• Denver comes to South Bend with a record of 0-1-1 on the season after dropping a 2-1 decision at Washington before playing Seattle on the road to a 0-0 draw.
• Denver is receiving votes in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll. The Pioneers are ranked No. 14 in the nation by Top Drawer Soccer and No. 24 by College Soccer News.
• Prior to the season, Denver was picked to win the Summit League title in a poll conducted of the league's coaches. The Pioneers have won at least a share of the last six conference championships.
• Junior MF Jacob Stensson and junior F Preston Judd were tabbed as 2019 Summit League Players to Watch.
• The Hoosiers and the Pioneers have only met once prior to Friday, with that match also coming in the Mike Berticelli Memorial Tournament. On Sept. 11, 2011, Indiana beat Denver, 2-1, on goals from Chris Estridge and Alec Purdie.

No TV and not going to South Bend so I will be looking at stats and Tweets like everyone else with little insight this weekend.

I should be at or watching every other game after this weekend besides PSU and the Big Ten Quarterfinal when I will be on a plane.

I had no more access then live stats and tweets like everyone else but I guess we can just call them the 'Heart Attack Hoosiers". Don't think you can win this way long term and we need to stop getting down early but the fact that this young team finds ways in the biggest of pressure moments says something. You would expect them to get better as year goes on and chemistry develops.

SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS
• Seattle enters Sunday's match with the Hoosiers with a 1-1-1 record on the season. On Friday, the Redhawks fell to the host Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 4-2.
• Seattle started the season with a 5-0 win over San Francisco before playing Denver to a 1-1 draw.
• In a preseason poll conducted of the league's coaches, Seattle was picked to win the WAC.
• Noe Meza leads the Redhawks with three goals on the season.
• The Hoosiers and the Redhawks have only met once prior to Sunday, with that match also coming in the Mike Berticelli Memorial Tournament. On Sept. 13, 2009, Indiana beat Seattle, 2-0.
