The St Paul’s-Belmont Hills basketball game today is not streamed. The St Paul’s-Belmont Hills squash match was. Jesus.

Squash! Is that the game where they run up and down a field beating the hell out of each other with sticks?

This kid just competes in a way I think gets him on the floor early. His defensive upside is phenomenal. I can’t wait to see him in an IU Jersey.

Same.  Oladipo's been in his ear for several months.   Think we're going to like this kid and the results of his having that mentor.

The kid’s also a year young for his class. He doesn’t turn 18 until, I believe, next October. He’s got a great frame, maybe he grows into an OG type. Anunoby would have been a monster in Miller’s system.

Fortunately, it looks like most of his home games will be streamed with his next game on Saturday the 14th at 3:30 ET via LiveStream.   You'll have to register for access but it doesn't cost anything.

New England Recruiting Report on Class A Schools -

St. Paul’s School – Jordan Geronimo provides head coach Max Gordon with an elite athlete and physical specimen who has improved at a rapid rate within the last year and may just be scratching the surface of his potential. Geronimo committed to Indiana following a breakout spring and summer and now returns to be the catalyst for St. Paul’s. He’s surrounded a young, but talented, supporting cast. The class of 2021 features Jack Anderson, Cody Appleton, and Elijah White in the backcourt along with 6’10” big man Graham Robinson up front and Clifton Goode on the wing. The class of 2022 features James Morakis and Tola Olorode.

Watched St. Paul's lose 80-60 to Thayer.  St. Paul's second loss of the season and my initial reaction is that overall St. Paul's is not an overly talented team.  Lots of TOs many unforced.  They play man-to-man defense and not particularly well.  Couple of interesting items from tonight's game.  They play 16 minute halves; use a 30-second shot clock and only had 2 referees.  It's also always funny to see out-of-state varsity level gyms that are smaller than most of Indiana's middle school gyms.

Geronimo finished with 10 pts. on 4-12 FG; 1-5 on 3s; 1-1 FT; 7 reb; 1 TO.  He picked up his 3rd foul with 3:30 left in the first half on a really dumb backcourt reach-in foul.  He can dribble/drive to the bucket and I thought ran the floor fairly well.  Lateral quickness is a question mark as he got beat off the dribble on several occasions.  When he wasn't in the game, he was a real cheer leader from the bench for the players on the court.  This is only the first time I've seen him play but I thought I noticed a drift to his left on his 3-point jump shot.  It's possible he was ejected with 1:00 left in the game.  There was a scrum and I didn't see an official give him the heave ho, but he left the gym and didn't go through the handshake line.  There was no play-by-play with the game stream so no way to know for certain what happened.
