Couple of post-Adidas Gauntlet Finale comments from Corey Evans.

Jordan Geronimo  -  It is like clockwork every summer with the Mass Rivals program: The adidas outfit always has one guy who morphs into a high-major prospect right in front of our very eyes. tic, instinctive defender and capable shot-maker, Geronimo is coming after a spot in the Rivals150. He just corralled an offer from Indiana, as that programs joins other such as Iowa, Penn State, Providence and Texas A&M in doing so.

Jalen Bridges was formerly a member of the 2019 class who decided about a year ago that he would take a prep year this upcoming fall. His performance over the weekend was surely the best we have seen of the Wildcats Select product. The perfect small-ball power forward for today’s game, Bridges made shots in a variety of ways and also displayed sneaky explosiveness in the lane. Some schools have asked for his fall of 2019 enrollment. Instead, he will stick with his plans as Pitt, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio State and Xavier are just a few that are high on his college list.

Brian Snow's Adidas Gauntlet top performers include some Indiana players of interest -

Name: Jalen Bridges

Position: Small Forward

Class: 2020

247Sports Composite Ranking: No. 83

Recruiting: Ohio State, Xavier, Pittsburgh, Indiana, Illinois, West Virginia, Marquette

Bridges started off the summer playing well despite not having his outside shot working. As things went along in Ladera, his outside shot began to come back to him, and that made him an absolute nightmare to defend. Bridges hit threes, got to the rim some off the dribble, and then also used his size and length to rebound and be solid on the defensive end. He can play either forward spot, though is probably best as a stretch forward. However, on defense he is gifted enough to switch screens, and be a very versatile piece to the puzzle for any team.

Name: Anthony Leal

Position: Shooting Guard

Class: 2020

247Sports Composite Ranking: No. 96

Recruiting: Indiana, Stanford, Northwestern, Cincinnati, Xavier

Leal and his teammates suffered a surprising loss in the first round, but then things picked up in a big way. Known as a very good shooter, Leal got going from deep, and looked extremely confident in his perimeter jumper. Leal made numerous threes, the final two days of the event, but he also showed more than that. A solid athlete with good length and a very strong frame, Leal got after it on the defensive end, and also finished going to the rim off of drives. Just an average passer, Leal looked more comfortable than ever when getting into the paint and making plays for his teammates. Overall, it was an excellent close to the summer for Leal.

Name: Jordan Geronimo

Position: Small Forward

Class: 2020

247Sports Composite Ranking: Not Ranked

Recruiting: Texas A&M, Iowa, Indiana, Penn State, Providence, Virginia Tech, Boston College

A true July breakout performer, Geronimo again showed why he is reeling in high-major offers at a high rate. While he can be inconsistent, Geronimo has all the physical tools you could want in a hybrid forward. He stands around 6-foot-6, has excellent length, is a very good athlete, and then also has the ability to make shots from deep. The next step for Geronimo is to be more consistent with his production, and that definitely seems like an attainable goal. With back to back impressive showings, look for Geronimo to make a huge leap in the next batch of rankings.
