I'd be surprised if he doesn't announce by the end of the week. I think he will hire an agent too.

New rule will allow the ones invited to the combine to hire an agent and if they don’t get drafted they will allow to go back to school. I will double check but I think that was part of the the new findings by the commission

I almost wish they went to a baseball model of draft in the middle of the season and let a player finish the season and if they didn’t get drafted or signed they could come back. This is a step in the right direction imo.

NBA would have to change their schedule for that I think to work.

Odd that Romeo hasn’t announced yet. Not that I think he’s coming back

I don't think very many of the high profile players have. Maybe Gaffords and Garland.

Blackmon, Bryant etc announced April 10th/11th.

The MLB does their draft in June. Players still playing in college get to finish out their season, sign their contracts, and then decide. There is no combine. So the combine warriors are the ones that suffer, but the majority of players are locked in. I don’t see it being changed due to the teams that don’t make the playoffs are still interested in May for the lottery, then June for the draft.

Cook and Coffey staying in draft will be big hits to those respective programs. Both really talented.

A bunch of Iowa fans on twitter suggesting Iowa will be better without Cook. Uh huh. Recency bias of the highest order.
