Forrester is next on the transfer portal.

Man, I liked Jake. He might foul out in ten minutes, but he worked. So, Archie not seeing playing time for him or what?

I am really sorry to hear this one. Was probably his biggest fan on this board. I think that kid had a chance to be a really useful player eventually. Sitting a year and developing physically will do him good. Best of luck.

I was thinking he would play more minutes next year, but wasn’t ready to contribute much this season. I do think he should have played a little bit more, but he was similar to Moore in terms of could do some okay things on the court, but was way behind on a lot of things. Really liked both, and hate to see them transferring, but I’m not surprised. With Smith (if he stays), Davis, TDJ, Thompson, and possibly Brunk, I can’t blame him.

I’m sure the animosity him and his dad probably had towards Smith’s playing time made this a lingering issue that really played a big factor. I doubt Forrester expected to play a ton, but seeing a guy play so many minutes that didn’t show up all the time had to be very frustrating.

Honestly, I would have preferred Smith leave over Forrester. If he stays, of course I want him to succeed, but I'm not encouraged by his play nor attitude. Forrester appeared to have some drive at least. Plus he tried to dunk it a lot.

We’re not allowed to count the Crean leftovers I am told. And Thompson has barely had playing time

In fairness, Thompson's lack of playing time is not necessarily directly correlated to his ability.  We really don't know what kind of basketball talent Thompson has to offer because he missed so much time with injuries.

Archie’s first class was Romeo, Rob, Anderson, Forrester and Thompson. Romeo is leaving. Forrester is now leaving. Anderson on the fence and didn’t play much. Thompson didn’t play much. So far, this class isn’t giving us much. The Movement 2.0.
