Somebody who knows the rules better than I, please explain this to me. Is the charge/block arc only on drives to the bucket? Because Davis was backing his way in, the defender flopped and got a charge. I think Davis probably did initiate the contact, but the defender's foot was inside the arc -- I thought inside the arc = charge, regardless. Am I wrong? (Probably).

I do not think that should have been a charge because the defenders foot was clearly in the circle.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the arc only matters if you are a defender off the ball.

Wasn't a flop...smh. DD lowered the boom and pushed off with the left hand.

"Flop" was a poor choice of words. No need to syh ... Davis definitely initiated contact. But the defender's foot was inside the arc. Why was that not a block. Does the arc not matter in that case. I'm seriously asking -- I'm not sure.

Of course Smith hustled downcourt. There was a chance for him to make a bucket. Smith hustling back on defense? That's another story ...

Gotta give him credit for hustling down and pressuring Riever on that inbound play too. Just want to see more of that from him
