Yes.  That makes perfect sense to have such confidence in your 3 point shot at 22% to hold the ball until the clock runs out and take a step back unset 22 footer when you only need one point to win.

I'm done with this team and burning my remaining tickets for the year.

I hope Romeo leaves.  He's not a team player. He thinks he can do it all but he can't play 1 on 5 in he Big Ten.  This has happened game after game.  However, it is not all his fault as his coach should have told them to take the highest percentage shot, not the worst.

"I'm done with this team and burning my remaining tickets for the year."

Now I'm eating my words.

I skipped the last 2 games.  Wisconsin and Michigan St.  The only consolation was that the Wisconsin game ended so late that I would have fallen asleep on my 100 mile drive south on I-69. For the Michigan St game I went to the shooting range and only heard the first few minutes of the game on radio.  I put my ear protection on and was taking my frustration out on targets.  One of my buddies texted me of the win and I was stunned.  Had to watch the replay at home.  This always happens when I turn my back on IU.

I couldn't be happier for this team and I will attend Senior Day.

My dad once told me always support whatever team you're a fan of through the good and the bad. I will always watch them. Each to his own though. That doesn't mean I'm ok with losing though.

Yes, my father did this to me too.

Like him I am a lifetime IU basketball, IU football, and Cubs fan with season tickets to all 3 at one point.  I know disappointment to the nth degree.  Sometimes it gets the best of me and I turn my back.  Strangely, I always come back for more.  At 60 years old I'm not likely to change much other than grow a bigger nose and have less hair on my head.

My father went to his grave in September 2011 with Cubs 2003 World Series tickets tucked inside his shirt pocket although he never saw them win it.  The tickets were printed and distributed in advance of Steve Bartman's left field play.  The Hoosiers were still mired in dispair until the Watshot on December 10 of that year.  As a fan things can always get worse and always get better.  I am hoping for better.

At least in my lifetime I got to see the Cubs win the World Series and the Hoosiers win the NCAA Championship in 1976, 1981 and 1987.  Now if we could do something about football.  1967 was before I was watching.  Yet, I am still watching and "not ok with losing".
