Tough road swing.  Hope Ali can shake off her bad mojo and the team can get back on track (no doubt in my mind they will!)

Same starters as usual:  Yeaney, Penn, Royster, Patberg & Wise.  Midway through 1st Q, IU leads 8-2.

End of 1 and IU leads 19-14.  5 separate Hoosiers have scored led by Wise with 7.  Gulbe picked up 2 fouls in just 2 min. so likely won't be of any help the remainder of the first half.

Halftime and IU leading 33-24.  Wise 9 and Yeaney 7 pts.  Royster 6 reb; Yeaney 4; Wise 3.  Only shooting 11-30 from the field and a woeful 1-7 on 3's, but a perfect 10-10 on FT.  21 reb. and 7 TO.  Rutgers only shooting 27% from the floor.  Gulbe with the 2 fouls but no one else with more than 1; Rutgers has 1 player with 3 fouls.

End of 3 and IU still leading 47-46; gonna have to really dig in to get this W.  Yeaney 12 pts., Penn and Wise 9 each.   Had 8 TO's in the 3rd Q. Yeaney with 4 fouls and Gulbe with 3.

In other WBB news, L'ville leading UConn 62-53 with 5 minutes to play.  Attendance reported as 17,023, highest for any women's game this season.

3rd Q really cost the Hoosiers and they end up losing on the road 69 - 64 to Rutgers.  Wise 15 pts., Yeaney and Penn 12 each, 10 for Patberg.  Royster the leading rebounder with 8; Yeaney with 6.  41% FG; 33% on 3's; 94% FT.  21 TO's is what cost us the game.

IU collapsed at the end of the third quarter and could not inbound the ball. They either turned it over right afterward or got a five-second call.

In other WBB news.  Louisville hung on to give the UConn women their 2nd loss of the season 78 - 69.  First time UConn has lost 2 games in a season since 2012-2013.

Yes they are. They have 5'5" guards.  Don't they? Their bigs couldn't finish.  We gave them the game.  we we're better

Thoroughly disagree.  Also, Berger wouldn't have done anything at Louisville that she hasn't done here.  Curious- which players need to "get the hell out"?

The usual post game quote from moren after a loss..on turnovers..notice that she doesnt need to take ownership..the players do........hmmmm

"It’s our Achilles heel right now and until our kids take ownership and fix it, we’re going to be in tight games, but at times we won’t be able to close it out.”

Warthen, Johnson, and Marchese would leave after this season if they actually want to contribute somewhere.

Berger would have been on the bench 40 minutes if she went to louisville.

coach loses her composure after a few losses and reverts to her old ways, let's hope that doesnt derail what was a pretty positive season so far
