Juwan Morgan's climb up the all-time scoring record list

Out of curiosity do you know where he sits on rebounds

If my memory serves me well, which it often doesn't these days, the only list I found for rebounds was top 10 (or maybe top 25) and he wasn't on pace to reach that list.  I may be wrong though.  I had to go through and count his rebounds for each season and then search for a tops list.  I'm pretty sure I only found the top 10.  I'm sure there's a longer list someplace.

EDIT:

I looked this up again and realized I was wrong.  He has to be on the record books for rebounding.  At this point in his career, Juwan Morgan has 704 rebounds to his credit.  So, he's not too far off from top ten in rebounding.  Thanks for making me recheck my math and to look into this again.

Here is the top ten all-time leading rebounders for Indiana University:

1. Alan Henderson - 1,091

2. Walt Bellamy - 1, 087

3. Kent Benson - 1,031

4. Archie Dees - 914

5. Steve Downing - 889

6. Ray Tolbert - 874

7. Don Schlundt - 860

8. Eric Anderson - 825

9. Christian Watford - 776

10. Brian Evans - 750

I thought D.J. White would be near to this list, but I had forgotten he was only able to play 5 games his sophomore year.  He only had 547 rebounds.  I'm not sure who would be between Brian Evans at 750 and Juwan Morgan at 704.

Juwan Morgan scored only 7 points, but snagged 11 rebounds in Indiana's upset win over Michigan State.

This leaves Juwan at 1,253 career points and moves him in front of Tom Van Arsdale for 33rd on Indiana basketball's all-time scoring list.  He is 4 points shy of moving into 32nd with James Blackmon, Jr and only 19 points shy of breaking into the top 30.

The 11 boards tonight brings his career rebounding total to 715, which is just 35 rebounds shy of entering Indiana's top ten all-time career leaders in rebounds.  With 35 more rebounds on the season, he would tie Brian Evans for the 10th best career mark with 750 rebounds.

With guarantee of 4 more games Juwan might be able to do it. Even if we win a postseason game he still needs 7.5 a game

9 rebounds a game in the guarantee games puts him one rebound ahead of Brian Evans and places him tenth all-time. With one additional post season game he would need 7 per game to tie Brian Evans. Either way, I think it’s certainly possible considering he’s averaging 8.3 for the season.

I would love to see him break into the top ten. That would be quite an accomplishment.

Juwan Morgan scored 20 points against Illinois, bringing his career total to 1,273 points and moves him into #30 on Indiana's all-time scoring list.  He passed James Blackmon Jr, Steve Green, and Joby Wright.

He also tallied 9 boards, bringing his career total to 724.  This leaves him only 26 rebounds shy of breaking into Indiana's top ten all-time career rebounding leaders.

I think if we can win one post season game he will for sure get the rebounding.

84 points from top 25 in points. Doable maybe if we win a couple post season games

Wow, according to the coaches of the Big Ten there are 15 players in the conference who are better than Juwan Morgan?

Unbelievable the lack of respect he’s been given.

I want to see him in ABSOLUTE BEAST MODE in the BTT and prove the coaches have been asleep all season.

At least 15 players right? It could be as many as 19 players unless they select like 30 honorable mentions in which case it could be more. Bulletin board material

Yeah, they apparently believe there are (at least) 15 better players. Wow, what a punch in the jaw. Like I said, I hope this fuels him and he has an absolutely freakish performance throughout the BTT.

And this isn’t even a Hoosier bias on my part, as I would have placed Romeo below Juwan on these lists.

Jordan Bohannon? Really?  He had 1.4 more assists per game than Juwan.  Outside of that...?
