Ugh Miller needs to get with it and take his time and its an easy out. However, we cut down their attempted double steal at the plate perfectly to prevent further damage. 2-2 end 5.5 innings.

Miller leads off the 7th with a double. Eustace in to PH for Dunham and advances Miller on a sac bunt.

Hoosiers win 4-2 and take the series. We host winless Western Illinois on Tue/Wed and then a 3 game series vs Northern Illinois.

Well we made it as hard as possible but took the series and have a winning streak again. Still need to wake our offense out of its slumber but at least we've won in spite of it last 2 days so I got no complaints. Now we really scrape the bottom of the barrel with winless (for now) Western Illinois and than a Northern Illinois team who is only marginally better so this is our chance to get our bats going more than ever.

A couple notes:

1. Fineman misread a sign from the 3rd base coach and held up at 3rd in the bottom of the 8th after a Eustace single where he would of easily scored from 2nd to make it 5-2. Didn't matter today but that can't happen again as that could cost you big in another game if it were to occur again.

2. Crowd was bad. Not angry at our fans at all as it was freezing and spring break. However, because of that the cheering from the Pacific dugout was almost as loud as our fans, so on some of the plays in the corner the camera has a hard time catching it was really hard to know if what happened was in our favor (until the announcers said a few seconds later). I can't wait till it gets warm and the place is full so it's clear on close and out of sight plays whether they favored IU. Its not a bad broadcast but they only use 2 cameras on BTN2go so they can certainly miss things in certain spots.
