He'll have some decisions to make eventually...

That must have been at the JV level. Their varsity starter was a SR and they won state. (Lucky a**** got to move down to 2A)

I'd be shocked if he's the best FR QB in the state. (Though I'm sure he's very good).

I will say, him playing football at SR.. he is almost guaranteed to be a tough kid. I love their coaching staff, they do things the right way. I want him at IU now.

He is very good QB for a FR.  Is he the best in the state?  Well, we'll never know and it really doesn't matter.  Point is he is a very good 3 sport athlete.

Totally off topic, but Southridge has a FR catcher that IU baseball needs to go ahead and get on if not already.  He is a stud!  Chase Taylor.

I just think them not saying those weren't varsity stats is misleading

As a freshman, Montgomery isn’t just having success on the basketball court. He's a three sport athlete as he plays football, basketball, and baseball. Montgomery said it can be difficult, but it is something that he really enjoys.

“It’s hard, but I just make time for all three,” said Montgomery. “We have a barn, so I I try to go out there every morning and get up around 500 shots. It’s something that I feel really helps my game.”

I look forward to meeting him at football camp this summer.

I'm sure you are ... best rising Sophomore QB in the state!  :92:  :)
Haha I'm certainly sure he's well up there. Great size already for a SO QB!!!

What I like.. I know SR runs their QB plenty because they run a version of our offense, and that means his a tough kid. Also.. playing QB he's probably a darn good passer on the basketball court, as well. Excited to see how he grows.

I agree.  A long way to go!  It will be fun to watch things play out.  Sounds like he is a gym rat putting up 500 shots a morning!
