I’m not convinced it’s not 100/0 IU or 100/0 Michigan.

I bet he has his mind made up over IU/Mich and then OSU will be reasssurance unless he has his socks blown off.

I’m sure there will be a pros/cons conversation at the end but I’m thinking his gut is pointed in a certain direction.

Correct. I did not mean to imply that Carton was 60/40 ‘for sure,’ I meant that I believe it’s Michigan, but still pretty torn. I’m sure he is 98% sure if his decision, and taking the last OV just to confirm it.

With Archie I’m certainly at a different place in regards to recruiting than his predecessor. Romeo and last year’s class has just scratched the surface of what Indiana basketball and recruiting is becoming. I really believe if Arch wants a player, UM and OSU will not win on a regular basis. I think Carton is ours although most paid prognosticators may feel otherwise.

After he takes the O$U visit, a decision will be very imminent.  I think he and his family want this over with before he goes back to school this fall so he doesn't have that as a distraction.

Just as a FWIW, Snow posted his Midwest recruiting notes earlier today and said he hasn’t received any info that would make him change his Carton to UM prediction.

I’m not on pins and needles with this recruitment. IU will be fine either way. I do really want Carton. But it’s not do or die like in-state recruitments

I meant Keion and TJD. Those two recruits are the most important in this class. I still think IU gets Carton. But I’m not as confident on him as Keion and TJD

While nothing about DJ’s social media points to any particular school, his last two favorited tweets in the past three days have been of Keion and TJD saying its time for the Peach Jam

That said, if OSU gets Carton, I’ll be slightly more nervous about TJD. If we get Carton, I’ll be much more comfortable about TJD. I believe IU is in the lead for TJD, but OSU is a challenge
