Maryland at IU Game Thread

I’ve been pretty shocked at the lack of attendance. We were filling the balcony in Crean’s first years. I don’t recall ever seeing it like that before, and it has been multiple games now.

We need to start winning soon or IUBB will be like IUFB.

I think most fans are just tired of rebuilds at this point. You can only go through that so many times before you start to question if it's worth it.

I’ll try to say this without sounding like a hater, but the lack of attendance is with the influx of east coast and Chicago area students. Most only go to get drunk and yell. They don’t care about the team or college basketball in general. I know because I saw it throughout my 4 years and I’ve heard it’s only getting worse

Heck, as much of a diehard as I am and I've been asking myself this a lot lately.

I think Archie will get there though and if so, it'll be sweeter for me.

You’re definitely not wrong. I flew up for the Wisconsin game last year and it was my first time back in probably 3 or 4 years. The entire downtown area is filled with Smallwoods now.
