Iu vs michigan st 1/19/18 game thread fs1

Recommended Posts

Been really looking forward to this game... Great measuring stick to see if we have actually made any progress.... we are over half way through the season, 1/3 of the way through the Conference season.... I am hoping to get a good gauge of where we really stand... the last few wins are nice (as are all wins) but Minny is slumping without their full roster, and home games against the likes of Northwestern & Penn State don't tell me much.... this is the first game in a tough stretch.

I am not at all confident on the road but I am nervously excited to see how we do.

I haven't watched a lot of MSU either, I know about Bridges... but who else scares us? 3 pt specialist? Big that will eat us up with our smaller lineup? Quickness to blow by us and get easy layups/dunks?

Nick Ward could be a load. But he doesn’t scare me. All IU has to do is double down and get him to pass the ball. That’s definitely his worst attribute. They’ve got some players that can hit from deep. Winston, McQuaid, Langford and Bridges. I think IU has a chance. We’ll see. No matter the outcome tonight, IU will definitely win at home the next meeting

When’s the last time we won at their purgatory of a gym? Cody, Victor, Watford and company?

Whoa.... that’s right. This is what the Iz said about it.... "Nothing happened. There's more contact when I hug my daughter than that play had. Ridiculous." Probably wouldn’t be saying that in this Weinstein era
