In an interview, Allen said Ali Patberg, a close friend of her sister, Jenna, played a role in convincing her IU was the place to go.  Jenna Allen was an IU commit under former coach Curt Miller but de-committed after he left and plays at Michigan State

Didn't realize they'd be in the Regional here in Columbus.  I was planning on going anyway to support Columbus East, but this is a bonus!

In regional action, Bedford North Lawrence 57-36 over Columbus East (sorry mamasa).  Allen with 21 pts.  BNL will meet winner of Castle-Center Grove in title tilt at 8 p.m.

I unfortunately didn’t make it to the game, but thrilled to see a future Hoosier light it up! I’m also very happy that East returned to Regionals after a 6 year drought! Kind of a win/win for me lol
