BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Hoosiers are turning the page on the 2017 regular season and begin a new season with the Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament. The new format spreads the entire conference into a two-week playoff; for Indiana, that begins in Friday's first round against eighth-seeded Ohio State.
 
It's a showdown from just a week prior when the Hoosiers and Buckeyes clashed in Columbus, where Ohio State emerged with a one-goal victory. Friday's winner advances to the quarterfinal round against top-seeded Michigan, currently unbeaten in conference play. Are you ready for the postseason?
 
"We've really emphasized that it's a new season now, so we came out with intensity in practice this week," said junior defender and team captain Nora Aucker. "Having just played Ohio State, we remember their tendencies and strengths and how we can oppose them."
