Lady Hoosiers (5-7-3, 1-4-2) are back in action at Bill Armstrong Stadium tonight hosting Iowa (7-5-1, 2-3-1) and on Sunday afternoon face Nebraska (8-3-3, 2-1-3) on Senior Day.  Ladies need to get their mojo back as they haven't had an outright win since Sept. 14, against Michigan State.  Since then, they've had 4 losses and 2 ties and there are only 4 regular season games left before the B1G tournment.

Off to a good start with a goal by Maya Piper in 8' assisted by Kayla Smith.  Piper's 7th goal on the season.

At the half, the Lady Hoosiers hang on to a 1-0 lead.  IU with only 4 total shots; 2 on goal while Iowa with 9 total shots; 4 on goal.  Iowa also with 9 corners vs. only 2 for the Hoosiers.  Iowa also whistled for 6 fouls to only 2 for our women.

10 min. left and the Lady Hoosiers still holding a 1-0 lead.  Bethany Kopel earning her scholarship tonight with a new career high in saves with 10.

A little breathing room as IU scores again in the 82' on a goal by Kylie Kirk.  But that breathing room is taken away in 86' by an Iowa goal.   Lady Hoosiers lead 2-1 with under 5' to play.

Purely from a statistical standpoint, Iowa should have won this game, but thanks to some outstanding work in the net by Bethany Kopel (12 saves) the Lady Hoosiers ground out a 2-1 win and move to 2-4-2 in B1G play.  Iowa with 22 total shots, 13 on goal and 10 corners.  Lady Hoosiers with 9 total shots only 3 on goal and 6 corners. 

At noon on Sunday, Nebraska will be in town.
