15th ranked juco. Idk though. He is listed at 6’2” in the attached article, but 6’1” for the school. He is a combo guard that hasn’t shot well from deep. To me this isn’t a Romeo backup. This is a Guard leaving backup.

15th ranked juco?  Sorry but after seeing Freddie McSwain being ranked the 2nd ranked juco the year he came to us, I don't know if that quite moves the needle for me.

Curtis Jones replacement? Probably won’t be an impact player but a decent backup if called upon. Would also help balance the classes a little. Our freshmen class for next year is way overloaded at this point.

I’m actually a fan of JUCO kids, as long as they’re academically sound. They tend to be tough, chip on their shoulder types. That’s definitely CAM’s sweet spot.

I mean, in one season Archie had McSwain looking like a respectable bench player. I’m confident that wherever Archie finds his talent, he’ll mold them into the best player they can possibly be - a few years of that is worth more than a 5* OAD freshie more times than not

Where did you see Freddie ranked 2nd?

Consider this. Tisdale averages 17 pts a game and 5.5 asts a game. He shoots 28% from 3.
 
Last year Chris Darrington averaged 20 pts a game for VU, shot 43% from 3 and went to Tennessee. At UT, he's barely played and only averages 2.8 pts a game.
 
VU is nice JUCO, but outside of Carl Landry, their players dont do well at High-Major.

Most juco’s I’ve seen at IU didn’t do much, but of course there are exceptions like Smart and Garrett.

Every player is different and anecdotal information about other players is irrelevant.
If Archie offers there will be a reason why; I’m guessing he knows a bit more than any of us ;)
