You're right. Poor chose of words there on my part. I'm sure he's a great kid and isn't looking to stick it to anyone in particular. Just wants to make his mark his way and we're not as clearly in the driver seat as we once word.  Father/step/whatever worries me a bit.

Why post this? Other than to single someone out. Just because his vibe doesn’t vibe with your vibe doesn’t make his vibe wrong or right.

TJD has steadily risen up the rankings as a wanted commodity. He watched Romeo use this (Romeo was always rated highly but he stayed in the spotlight) to his advantage and may be wanting to ride some of the same waves.

I know he's never been high on your list, but I don't think he's pulling "crap", so to speak. And I don't recall him ever owing us anything. He probably wants to explore his options. A player's stock starts with recruiting. The more impressive the offer sheet the better.

Let’s not panic. Archie is in control and EVEN I am convinced we are going to get 3 (maybe 4) good recruits this offseason.

Who those 3 will be is yet to be determined. Will TJD be one of them? I honestly believe so. If not Nnaji or Stewart or Hurt are still considerations. The staff is doing work and we have a good staff.

We have likely 3 starters (maybe 2) that we be leaving. The staff has a lot to sell. I’m expecting a solid class.

It’s not time to panic. Not even close.

I believe you have to be committed before making a visit to UH Manoa. It might be only for football though.

It's always a process with recruiting. When he feels the time is right he'll announce. I feel good about our chances.

Really. The family came to an IU game last year and sat behind the bench when TJD didn’t even go to the game. I’ve seen plenty of reports where he has been very positive of IU and national scouts have reported that his family members all like IU
