Having former IU guys on staff is great........ but some of you guys seem too adamant that it has to be IU guys as his assistants. I want him to get the best assistants that he wants regardless of where they played

 

Not trying to single you out, but I keep seeing post about how we need to hire former IU players as assistants. Don't really see it as a requirement.

I think he would be great. Head coach experience with ties to the state. Recruited well at Illinois.

I do want one IU guy, doesn't have to be a bench full.  Cheaney or Lewis for instance, then fill in the others.

It's like how people always want to get all the Indiana kids to play here. I don't really care where they come from as long as they're good.

I know he would be leaving to coach behind a much younger coach. But my guess is he goes elsewhere before Izzo leaves anyways.

Yeah. Idc who he brings. Glass is offering good assistant money. Seems like a big choice. Lots of people want IU guys, but for me, only if they best benefit the team.

 

Good, respected recruiters would be my desire. And a big man specialist.
