Pitino and Donovan very close. It was always thought that Donovan would be his replacement at Louisville. It was thought for a few years that Pitino was ready to retire. Now with the NCAA report coming out saying Pitino was indeed responsible for overseeing every aspect of the recruiting scandal, it is HIGHLY LIKELY that Pitino will receive a substantial suspension and possibly a revocation of their last championship. This could push Pitino to a retirement thus moving Donovan into position to take over the coaching job there. I will tell you this...if it is between us and UofL, we will not come out on top.

Also a very good chance they are banned from the tournament for a year or so at U of L...

And if that happens Billy would be coming in with sanctions. Not an ideal situation. My guess Pitino has 3 or 4 years left in him at least.
