Ugghh. Mack would be "a lot of other guys didn't want the job" kind of hire. 

Would be disappointing. Anything less than Billy is going to sting at this point for me at least.

Pretty much what I'm saying. He's an "I'll take it" guy but not even close to a home run. More like a sharply hit single.

What a FAIL if we end up with Chris Mack. 

 

-his 2 best seasons are with Miller's players

-no conference titles in last 6 years

-5 of last 6 seasons have 13+ losses

-never been past sweet 16

How does Mack land the IU job while still having a team in the Sweet Sixteen? I understand Underwood bounced to U of I very quickly after being ousted by Michigan but that was a different situation.

While I've been hoping for an announcement soon and with OKC not playing until Sunday, I just can't help feeling that Glass is playing stall ball. I really want to believe that it's BD, but he kind of gave himself an out by implying it would be a slow process and giving all the guys with Indiana ties a chance, etc. Glass is playing without a real shot clock.

Hopefully Kelsey backing out of UMASS isn't Mack going to IU but rather Kelsey being in the frame for the Georgetown job that just opened up. Or maybe he just truly had a change of heart and doesn't want to go to UMASS.

I would be happy with Mack. Great at recruiting Indiana, constantly makes the tournament and this is his 4th Sweet 16. Now give him the resources that IU has and I think he gives us a chance at another banner.
