I'm going to rule Stevens out. He's got one of the best coaching gigs in the world.. And he's in the middle of an Eastern Conference playoff run.

Yeah but you also ruled out IU firing Tom Crean right? I'm not saying IU will hire Stevens but it's not a for sure no like most probably think.

We could throw 5 years $40 million at him to get his attention. Crazier things have happened.

Eh, I've envisioned waking up next to Emma Watson for about 4 years too.  That hasn't happened yet either.

You're still breathing, so keep dreaming brother!

Sorry no way this happens. He's leading a charge in the NBA and proving himself at the highest level with recently unknown players. He stays in Boston

I totally get what you're saying and I think you're right, but calling NBA the highest level is about like calling professional wrestling the highest level.

What's more time consuming? Coaching in the NBA or college? I heard that Stevens said he likes having more time to spend with his family with his current gig vs his college coaching days.

This would be the home run of home runs. What hire in the recent past would match this?

Respect from Indiana high school coaches
Respect from college coaches
Respect in the league
Respect of kids who played for him
Won at high level
Indiana ties
Values education
No major infractions

Still not sure about this one but it would be worthy of a trip to Boston.
