Truth - very little of what they are in charge of is sports related items (games and winning). That's probably 5% of their job.

Just a thought on 0708 and saying Billy is a no go due to timing....why would his agent accept a personal meeting to simply say no?  I'm not saying the meeting happened or didn't, but that could easily have been done with a phone call.   Meetings are done to hash out fine details and such, not to say, nice to meet you, my clients not interested, what sounds good for lunch?

correct - he did just add that Crean will, in fact, be leaving on his own and that if he were "a betting man," he'd put $ on Missouri.  So it's not all bad news...

One of the Mizzou guys not as credible as DeArmond but he follows this guy said Crean is looking at 2.7-3 mill a year for 5-7 years. I have heard Mizzou is willing to throw a lot of money to be good again so this all could be true. I have no doubt Crean will take that deal. He wants to shut all of us up tho before he leaves so I expect him to be gunning for a BTT title. Iowa is on the next 4 out right now so it could be a blowout.

We can't be too picky. Crean is one of the worst Xs and Os coaches and game managers that I have ever seen. A lot of coaches that look average will do better than Crean at IU.

Donovan was probably too optimistic and Alford is probably too pessimistic. Usually both ends of the spectrum are wrong :)
