Great endorsements from a lotta people for Collins and Miller. Jeff Goodman said Collins will be an NBA coach. Then said he is already being scouted as such. Also said NC State and whoever wants him should just hand Archie a blank check. One of the Sixer beat writers I follow said Archie Miller is the most impressive coach at his age that he has seen. Point being guys is right now we have a shot at some really good coaches and they wont be options for long. Glass has to be make a move or we will regret it. I know there will be more up and comers but these two really get it as coaches. These two Billy D and Bennett are home run hires in my book. No reason we shouldn't end up with one of them.

We've talked a lot about the new head coach---what about new assistants?

I would love to see some IU alums---like Fife, Cheaney ,Smart, or even Bailey and keeping Elston etc.  Thoughts?

Really insightful and I like the perspective of his knowledge of IU athletics. What is very telling how time was spent on Glass and Crean. Specifically how Glass started in 09 right after Crean, so he's been there the whole ride. Then discussing truly great AD's like Orwig and how Glass legacy will always be tied to Indiana basketball. Kinda like what we have been saying.

It's going to be fun. New Head Coach will get his picks.

AJ Guyton would be an interesting assistant too. Fife. Calbert.

I want a recruiting specialist though.

Yup I dont agree fully because he has made athletics in a lot better shape than when he got here but until basketball is consistently good unfortunately no one will remember the good done for other sports. I dont blame anyone but I will give him a C regardless with a possible A if he fires Crean and makes a good hire.

Talking to Belden now. I misread his tweet and he retweeted it and he defended Crean so I said is it a joke or you have good sources? He said Id trust it so I messaged him asking about it and all he said is you hear a lot more than you think if you have a connection to any sport. Seems like a solid kid lol if I would have known all along just to hit up the football team than I would have a long time ago. Looks like I got another insider woot woot

Agreed... but doesn't the head coach bring in hist staff? So whether or not there are any IU ties on staff will be up to Biily D or Archie.

If he is he is extremely bored. Having a full fledged convo with him right now. I truly believe him but like he said things change everyday. At this point my take on it is unless Crean makes a mild run is it is legit.
