There aren’t any strikers in New Jersey high school soccer with the combination of size, speed, and skill of Seton Hall Prep’s Mason Toye. The Indiana-bound senior is a veteran of the soccer scene with stints at New York Red Bulls Academy, years with his club team Soccer Domain FC, and a couple weeks training at Sporting Portugal Academy, one of the top youth academies in Europe.

Add in a 32-goal season as a sophomore at Morristown-Beard, and eight goals and six assists in just 12 games for Seton Hall Prep last season, and you have an experienced and accomplished scorer.

There’s one thing that Mason Toye is missing from his personal résumé though and he can’t wait for this season to try it on for size.

Toye wants to be a leader.

“I’m ready to be a leader. It’s not something I’ve been able to do because now I’m finally a senior,” Toye said. “I want to showcase what I’ve improved on, but I also want to be a vocal leader and lead by example, and with the guys we have coming back, I’m going to be able to do that.”

Mason Toye (Seton Hall Prep)
Committed to:Indiana
Grade:Senior
Position:Forward

It's no secret that Mason Toye was the most feared player in New Jersey this season. Toye was always marked by two players at minimum, and the rest of the defense kept an eye on him as well. Toye scored 21 goals and added 12 assists (62G, 34A career).
