It was far from pretty (actually pretty sloppy), but Taylor and Ben Davis advanced with a 33-20 win over Lawrence Central and will face Warren Central next Friday for the sectional championship.  Taylor with 9-17 passing with 1 TD and he rushed 84 yds. on 17 carries and 2 TD's.  He also had a long TD run called back because of one of Ben Davis' many penalties.

Didn’t Ben Davis destroy them earlier in the season?

Basically destroyed everyone all season including Lawrence Central who gave them all they wanted last night after losing to BD by 35 pts., just 2 weeks ago.   Back in Sept., BD defeated Warren Central 45-16.

Ben Davis vs Penn for the 6A championship underway.  BD already up 8-0 after only 3 minutes of play.   On the season, Penn only allowed an average of 5.3 ppg.  And on the enusing kickoff, BD recovered a live ball and have the ball at the Penn 20 yard line.  First play, Taylor fires a TD pass and it's already 14-0 with 8' 27" left in the 1st Q.
