Hurley is the new era of college basketball coach. He embodies what it is to be a college coach in todays era. He just wins and wins in spectacular fashion. As @Hovadipo said, if they have any sense they will give him full reign (if they havent already). I will say that it will be hard to follow up 2 back to back championships. But Uconn is blessed to have a coach of his caliber.

I’ve said this to everyone. If Clingan stays out of foul trouble then, I believe UConn wins

Hahaha. I thought the same. They all just stand around and watch as they drive down the lane

It appears my 7 year old son will win our neighborhood bracket challenge if Purdue wins the championship and UConn does not go to the championship game. He picked all the games entirely on his own and is currently in 2nd place.
I am rooting for them too. The state of Indiana as a whole needs another title

1 hour ago, Home Jersey said:Yeah, but Clingan is not the focus of their offense. He doesn't have to beat Edey, just make him not his usual self. Karaban, Newton, Castle, and Spencer + Samson Johnson and a few other bench pieces are going to be able to get mismatches. Dont get me wrong, Purdue could win vs UConn, but I don't think UConn will rely nearly as much on Clingan to win as PU will on Edey
I don’t disagree at all. I just think since Purdue runs a lot of their offensive game through Edey, Clingan will be pushed around more than he is used to. I love UConn and Hurley, they are one of my favorites to watch outside of IU. Just comparatively, on what I’ve watched thus far in the tournament, Purdue ain’t messing around.

I’ve watched UConn a lot this year. Edey will eat Klingon alive.

While they do have talent, I think above all they are well coached and have grit. They aren’t soft, they play smart, and play as a team.

If Purdue makes it to the national championship I will have no choice but to root for them. It’s time the state of Indiana has a title again

Purdue is so tough. I don’t see how they won’t win the national championship

Wow did not know that! Uconn is a dawg again this year.

UConn and Illinois in the elite 8 should be a fantastic match up. Both great offenses

Just now, TheWatShot said:Saw Iowa State cut it to 3 and turned it back on just in time to see Shannon take an inbounds pass, simply run into a guy and get free throws. So lame.
Ya and they still can’t make em. 13 for 27 shooting 48 percent…yikes

I’ve got 50 dollars to win 600 on this. They’ve been the best team all year with UConn joining the mix.
Amazing, no one can get Edey in foul trouble.
Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile appHe’s smart around the rim. He plays in the worst officiated league in the nation, he’s figured it out. If they don’t get to the national championship I’ll be shocked

Utah State was keeping tight in the first half and let it go

All the Purdue fans can’t believe they had a foul called on them, out of the normal for em
