During one of our games last year, they showed one of CTA's fire-and-brimstone pregame speeches. The players were basically rolling their eyes. I thought: "This is not good."

I know someone referenced the Indy Star article about CTA's contract a while back in this thread. But I didn't know if it had exact numbers, so I looked it up. According to an Osterman piece from last fall, this is the breakdown: Fired after 2023 season: owed $20.8M Fired after 2024: owed $7.95M Fired after 2025: owed $5.4M So, the reality is, he's got two years to get this thing going again. The rest of this season and next -- because I don't see anybody ponying up nearly $21M to fire a football coach. I'm not even sure I can see us forking over $8M, but if this and next season are as ragged as the past two, I don't see how Dolson would be able to avoid making a move at that point.
