Wasn’t it around last year at this time people were freaking out that Archie had only been on the job for a month with no commits, then fast forward one year and were presumably going to get the top three players in Indiana for 2018, plus one of the top players in Ohio. If he can do this in one year I can only imagine this board five years from now

Wherever Romeo goes, good for him. One recruit will never define Indiana Basketball and even though we’ve had some really good individual players over the years, the team was what won us those championships. A well coached, good shooting, defensive focused team. We’re back on track with the coaching and the defense, and I think the fundamentals will only continue to get better. No more Prillers or April’s taking scholarships, but specific recruits narrowed down to fit Archie’s vision and scheme. The future is looking as good as it has in a very long time, with or without Romeo.

Also before I get back on topic (Romeo), I wanted to give a shout out to Coach Tonagel and the IWU wildcats for their their third national title in 5 years!

My guess is once Romeo commits somewhere then the attention and contstant refreshing go to Brooks or the TJD thread? Possibly Austin Boucher?

Yes they are, Romeo or not I’m looking forward to seeing a minimum of 7 new faces on this team next year. Hopefully Archies guys plus Archie’s system equals better results. We had no viable point guard, and started a walk on and juco transfer who all basically didn’t see any time under Crean. Better times are ahead, I just need to develop more patience to get me there.

There’s another rumor going around that Bruiser flint told Bobby Capobianco that Romeo is going to Vandy. It’s a done deal

Will RP be a great point guard for the Hoosiers? Who knows, only time will tell if he commits- but it sure makes me feel better knowing that we have a coach and evaluator who knows the point guard position all too well.
