2019 Off-Season IU Roster News and Moves
A.j. Nigh replied to CrossboneIU22's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Funny thread, after Jerome basically said he’s progressing fine. Rob tweeted “We’re used to it” and tagged Romeo and Devonte. Romeo replied “say it louder for the people in the back”. Essentially putting to rest the fight/girlfriend rumors. -
(2019) SF Trendon Watford to LSU
A.j. Nigh replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I never thought he was coming to Bloomington, but the fact that he chooses LSU despite what has gone on, really makes me question why I bother caring anymore. Kind of the icing on the cake for me to be honest. -
2019 Off-Season IU Roster News and Moves

I liked Jake and his energy and saw some potential as an upper class man but let’s be honest, we saw Jake for roughly 100 minutes (I admit I didn’t look it up). Archie saw him 100 minutes every practice. You really think he purposely played a worse player over Jake? Obviously Jake and Moore weren’t ready and Archie saw that in practice or they would have played. -

The Season Is Finally Over, Now Where Does This Program Go?

Read my mind. Even worse that the one who took his spot didn’t score a point in 2019 and looked lost the few times he played. -

It hurt me to take Purdue...but I figured I was winning either way. -

I took Texas tech and then edited it on same post to Purdue. I said changed to make sure it was noted. Sorry for indecisiveness but I didn’t think I wanted to pick Purdue lol -

The Season Is Finally Over, Now Where Does This Program Go?
A.j. Nigh replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
He likes to blame injuries (I believe at least his last 3 years he claims he lost his 2 best players each year to injury), yet it’s ironic that he doesn’t give Archie any leeway due to that this year. All you need to know about DD is wrapped up in something he said today (yes I listen when in the car, not a fan, but I listen as much for the laughs). He was asked to name 5 former IU players that could turn around the IU program, he named himself 2nd behind Alford. Any normal person without an axe to grind doesn’t mention himself in that answer. -
NIT Quarterfinal Game Thread - IU vs. Wichita State | Tuesday @ 7:00PM on ESPN
A.j. Nigh replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Mercifully this year is over, though I admittedly would have kept watching. I’m not going to name names, but I hope the Coach SS tweet the other day about no one transferring is wrong. This team needs some serious roster turnover in my opinion. Interesting look on Romeo’s face at the end of the game..... -

(2019) SF Keion Brooks Jr. to Kentucky
A.j. Nigh replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Yes and No. Maybe if we were getting the Keion that was advertised. The one who said how important it was to play for the name Indiana on the front of the jersey and staying home. The one who had great chemistry with TJD and Franklin. Instead when we peel the layers back, there’s him leaving his hs team in the middle of a season, and then going to LaLu, “time to be selfish” and then mentioning wanting his millions as a OAD when he’s not even on draft boards right now, are all the proof I need that we are better off without him. -

I only saw him play once, at Southport against Romeo. I came away less than impressed. That said, he’s a top ranked player in the class for a reason, but I really don’t think it’s a big miss. As others have said, we don’t need one and dones right now. This was his dad’s decision in my opinion. Best of luck to them, but if I could bet on it, I’d say he’s overseas in 3 years and his time at UK goes nothing like Cal told him it would. -

Best friends are best friends, but if it’s UK, I don’t understand TJD being there, especially the night before semi state or Armaan either for that matter. It’s a head scratcher to me. -

Yea that was bizarre. Everyone knows Lincoln could go left as well as right! -
Yea agree, just saying that it would be easier to swallow if we had won and were dancing.
-
I am there with you and agree. Unfortunately tomorrow is likely to suck too when Keion chooses UK. Lol
-
You’re right though. People wanted accountability, during that late run from down 20 it was Green, Al, Romeo, Davis, and Fitz. And they stayed on the court as they should have, as they cut the lead to 3.
-
I was all over Green early when he was bad, but props to him for coming to play. Without his fearless shooting we aren’t even close to being in the game.
