IUBB vs LA Tech Game Thread 11/25 8:30 pm BTN

I think Archie has made it clear that it doesn’t matter who starts. Green played 26 minutes and didn’t start. Franklin played 23 minutes and started. Don’t get caught up in the starting 5 I guess. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I would say look for another big game for Brunk. They will look for him in the low post. Gonna have to make free throws and finish. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Would love to see Green in the starting 5 tonight. Or at least playing starter minutes. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

This team has 11 guys that know their roles and it’s fun to watch. Tons of rock solid players and you can make a case that all of them will see significant run during the gauntlet of the season. When Al’s shot isn’t dropping, Devante can pick him up. When Justin doesn’t have it, TJD can pick him up. It goes on and on. Not saying this is a contending team, but it is certainly a TEAM! That lineup of Race, TJD, Phin, Al, and Jerome was nice! Not saying this should be the starting 5 or anything. Just enjoyed it. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

IUBB vs U of Southern Indiana (Exhibition) - Thurs., 11/1

I want to see them move the basketball and take care of it on offense tonight. I know Rob and Al will do a good job of that with Green out. I think that with Green out, Jerome Hunter is going to be key because of his ability to knock down perimeter jumpers. Might see more of him than McBob tonight since Romeo will likely be the only player in the potential starting 5 that can consistently hit threes. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I’ve heard buzz that the staff thinks that this is Justin Smith’s last year. (Draft) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I think that if Romeo’s jumper falls this year, he can lead the B10 in scoring. If not, the physicality of the B10 could get to him. Nice to see it going down in these videos. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

This might’ve been discussed before, but I’m curious as to what people think McRobert’s role is this season. I think that it’s gonna depend on how good Jerome Hunter and Damezi are on both ends. If they play well on offense and play hard on defense, I doubt McRoberts has much of a role. If one, or both, struggles, I think we will see a lot of McBob this season. For our future, I hope that’s not the case, although I do love and appreciate McRoberts. He’s just not a guy that should play a lot of minutes on a contending team. This gets me excited to see that we finally have a guy (Romeo) that can handle in the PnR and finish strong at and above the rim. Romeo and Juwan PnR will for sure be our go to play. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
