Because those statements are always bull. I know this first hand. They are like almost required by programs that you need to clarify that you are not on bad terms with the program whether it's true or not. She was probably really unhappy and needed to come up with a really good reason why she was leaving at such an odd time during the season. It's probably what she told the staff, doesnt mean its true. I still think of larryn brooks leaving texas tech (said her mother was sick in Ky and went to utah) and ria (VA closer to texas?) leaving iuwbb as prime examples that there statements were bull. Destiny Slocum who left maryland said she needed to be closer to home, how shes transferring again and said in a recent article that she lied about getting closer to home being why she left the terps. Of course they're running from college park as if it were on fire... I also heard that Beeler committed somewhere but I'm not sure where yet. Nothing on allen, nobody in her family has any online presence, haha.

Shes good, she just wasnt going to get minutes behind Sabally, Hebard, and Giomi..then next year there is another Sabally sister and Sedona Prince and Giomi ALONG with 2 forwards in the top recruiting class for this year... so I don't think she saw an opportunity for more minutes kinda like allen here. I think she would be a good get and I bet she knows paige price

I heard we are going after oregon transfer lucy cochrane (6'5). Would be nice to add a good post player..I think the talent level drops significantly after gulbe and holmes.

We offered her on monday, if she was a high major recruit, she would have had offers before then. Rumor has it she wanted to go to UK or UTK but the offer never came. I did some research and it seems her offers were OVC level. She decided between IU and Cincinnati, her two latest and highest offers. Her teammate Tess Darby was highly recruited by SEC schools who also followed chloe but never extended her offers. Basically she is the kind of recruit you keep on the back burner and offer late if nothing else pans out--that being said, she is a nice athlete who is about on the level of waggoner. Played about the same level of competition that vincennes rivet would play too, hence the eye popping numbers. Saw her at an indy aau a few years back, she can contribute here but it wont be right away for sure

Yes but she is a scorer, not a shooter. She shot 27% from 3 last season and usually attempted 20+ FGA per game. The type of player to bring nice instant offense off the bench.

FWIW this is the kind of player I was talking about when I say I like the ones that dont chase and publicize offers for clout and such. Played for one of the top teams in 1A. similar to grace waggoner level of competition and her stats in hs. Teammate is a '20 lady vols commit. Played in the same league as karly weathers who is another really really nice player I'm pretty sure we have offered as well

Our lineup will most certainly probably be: 1. Paterberg 2. Penn 3. Berger 4. Gulbe 5. Holmes With Patterson (if healthy) and Cardoño-Hillary getting most of the other minutes Noveroske could get back up center minutes, but I can see them moving gulbe to 5 when holmes comes out in favor of a smaller lineup Patterson's rehab seems to be moving along but our staff hasnt even seen her play as she hasnt been able to practice Staff doesn't seem to trust wilson with pg minutes so she will be 3rd on the PG depth chart Waggoner and warthen will have any remaining minutes at guard

Very nice addition..but will she play meaningful minutes as a pg? I remember amber deane being a good player who ended up only playing a few clean up minutes here and there. And thinking about how moren always reverted back to patberg at point after saying she wanted to move her to the 2 guard all last summer. I hope we find some minutes for this girl

Three-sport athlete also has played soccer at Franklin County and was a member of the school’s Class 2A champion 400-meter relay team in track and field last spring. She has 1,914 career points and will enter her senior season as a top contender for Kentucky’s Miss Basketball award. Future: Has scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Indiana, Kentucky, Northern Kentucky and Purdue.

I saw some nice video highlights as well, but it seemed like she wasnt really playing against great competition. However, if you have a roster spot in the WNBL you probably are nothing to scoff at. I cant find stats for the season, but it doesnt appear that she played a whole lot for the boomers, but they have several WNBA players on their roster...so not surprising since she is 16-17 years old

Yeah I dont really think Holmes and allen play the same position..allen is about 6 feet tall I saw her more like wise. I think she was gonna lose her playing time to patterson most likely, if anyone.. Allen played about 10 mpg, at best she would have increased that by maybe 5mpg each season. I assume she wants to he a major 30mpg player every night. This is why coaches and recruits need to he honest about what they want and what they have to give. Dont just assume because you got an offer that you were offered a starting spot

We have really let a lot of in state talent run off..jenna and jorie allen, muensterman, darby foresman, beeler, Jennings transferred to butler instead of here and we really went hard for her..what's the deal? At least we still have ali but as a local...I like to see the in state kids shine here and it just doesnt typically happen

Shyanne sellers '21 to maryland They are committing quick now with the likelyhood of official visits ever happening all but disappearing.

Paige price '21 out of AUS has us in her final 3 as of Feb 3rd along with arizona state and duke. A reputable wbb scout have her crystal ball to IU

I guess sometimes offering early can be helpful, show a kid that you believe in them, see their potential, ect a lot of kids (and parents for that matter) are just collecting offers these days and at the end of the day they're kids and they're "enjoying the process" a little too much. I bet kampschroeder had a hundred offers easy, same with parrish...always posting pictures of them in twitter with little P5 logos superimposed all around them. I kinda enjoy the ones who avoid all the fanfare
