How about Kaleb Glenn? He was a prospect from Louisville Male that reported a great visit at IU. He opted for the NIL prospects of his hometown school. He is now in the portal and I haven’t heard a thing about him.

Really puzzled why we couldn’t get a visit from Conwell. Not buying that the backcourt budget was spent. He knew of our interest before his season was over. He could’ve shown interest and visited before Hickman. Also curious about Humrichous. Know he wants to work out for NBA but our roster could be full before that.

I don’t get it with Conwell. He seems to have time to schedule multiple other visits

Would like to hear news of visits for Conwell and Humrichous. Musical chairs could disappear

I don’t know anything, but if supposedly Rice and Carlyle were done deals for a week or so, it seems unlikely to be hosting Hickman and trying to get a Conwell visit, if they didn’t want another guard.

All this Conwell vs Carlyle talk. Think it more likely we try to get at least three guards. I think the bigger question is whether we try to take four? Who is more likely a stretch four like Humrichous or a backup big?

Last year our three best players were Ware, Reneau, and Mgbacko. We had no guards. From this has sprung the whole story of a lack of modern offense, two posts, pound it in 80s basketball and a whole lot of Woodson hate. I hope and think things will look a lot different with dynamic guards that can break down a defense and some more capable shooters.

I am not sure we are prioritizing over them. It just seems Carlyle has showed more interest. 

I hope he comes. He could’ve visited before Carlyle but chose another visit first. That having been said, still want him.

Welcome the possibility of more bigs visiting. Going into the season with foul prone Malik is a bigger glaring whole than last years guards.

With the Cal bombshell Travis Perry might opt to decommit and he was an IU target at one time.    Not interested in him as a primary target but if we can land a couple of experienced portal guards then use the last 1 or 2 scholly's to fill out the roster and let him get a year of college experience if he'd be interested.

Kentucky fans expect Perry is the only one they will keep.

I think Perkins would make us a little better, but if he ends up being the dynamic lead guard that we supposedly were targeting, I am underwhelmed. Keep waiting for those reported “connections” to kick in.

This would be great news! Would certainly improve the perspective of momentum

It seemed like he had a nice visit at IU but then for some reason interest cooled. Two huge in state misses with he and Ivey.
