  1. If I had to guess I would say Sudfeld beat him out, and now Tre wants to find someplace where he can go start at. Not like Tre was a cancer or anything, but I call this addition by subtraction, now Sudfeld won't have to look over his shoulder all the time wondering if he messes up will Tre be put in the game.

  2. I'm going to take what his HS coach says with a grain of salt.  What else is he going to say?  He's going to build up his player.

Yea, but the article also said that his high school coach called Crean (Or one of the recruiting guys here at IU, i can't forget), and told him to get down here and check out April because he won't last another week, and sure enough Marquette, Arizona State and others looked at him, as did Crean, and as we know now, he committed here

  3. if he can put something special together, by IU standards, I know Glass will find money for him and his coaches. However, will that be enough to keep him? Why play in front of 52,000 (if full) when you can play in front of much larger crowds with bigger recruiting budgets and in states with much more talent to recruit? I see him eventually coaching in the ACC. Just kinda feels right. I think he is from the Carolinas and that area is laden with talent. Now, with all that said, he needs to win here first. Bloomington has been a career ender.

Well, didn't something leak about Indiana possibly have plans to enclose the south endzone? That could put seating closer to around 60,000. I don't remember where, I feel like I have heard that somewhere (Maybe the 247 board?).

Onto the OP's question, if Wilson can turn Indiana into a winner, then yes, I believe Glass will pay the man.

  4. While I would be happy with 7-5 this year, I think it very possible that IU makes that jump to 8-4 or possibly even better this year. Truthfully, as far as a progression of just getting better, 6-6 (actually 7-6) would be satisfactory, but I expect a bit of a jump in that progression in the next year or two. The better recruiting classes are starting to field sophs and juniors like Fant and Kenney, plus a wealth of guys that are just solid B1G capable players. We may not be "there" yet, but the future is bright!

Truth be told, I also can see us going 8-4, however, I wanted to kind of temper my expectations for us. I truly do believe we can go 8-4, but we have a pretty difficult schedule, so I am going to wait and see about that.
