What I like about OG is simply that when you watch him play it's almost as if you're growing with him. You can see how far he has come and you know how much farther he can go. If he has made this kind of jump since the end of the non-conference season which isn't even a month's worth of time yet, can you imagine what his ceiling could be? I'm not one of those who is ready to say he's the next Oladipo because I just don't think that's right. Why put that kind of pressure on anybody. But I do think he has the potential to average in double figures, get five or six rebounds a game and make this team better on defense. I would take those kinds of numbers any day.

I'm happiest for him.  His skill set is such that many were saying he is tne "next Oladipo" and things like that.  I talked to some AAU coaches who knew him, and all said "he's ready in the lower body, not yet in the upper body."    He's obviously done some work, and he's ready now.  A great athlete who has terrific spacial awareness, understands his role, and just plays with little fanfare.   I hope he's not disappointed anyone because he wasn't an immediate factor.
 
And he'll only get better.   Happy for him, and have to compliment Crean on this one because he's the kind of kid Indiana can succeed with long term.  I'd take 8 of him.

Indiana has taken care of business since Big Ten play began -- but let's be honest. Schedule was forgiving early -- and in general in league play. Hoosiers have beaten Wisconsin, Ohio State, Illinois and Northwestern at home and Rutgers, Nebraska and Minnesota (three of league's bottom) on road. The four teams that IU gets twice this season: Wisconsin, Illinois, Nebraska and Minnesota. Again, props for Hoosiers for doing what was necessary -- but still haven't proven they are a Top 25 team again -- yet.

Sounds like the typical analyst who have yet to WATCH a game yet during this winning streak. It's not just who they've beaten but also HOW they've done it. So tired of this argument. Bring home another W at Wisconsin and really start shutting these so called experts up.

I think I'll cheer for Iowa. Getting Purdue a third loss puts distance between everyone else. If we can beat Iowa head-to-head we'll be fine. If we can't we won't win anyway. Rather see Purdue sink in the standings.

I take it back, don't go Purdue. Go Iowa. Eliminate Purdue so we can take the stupid Hawkeyes on and ruin any hopes they ever had.

Sick of the weak schedule talk. Yeah the teams we've been playing are on the lower half of the Big Ten rankings but they've played some good teams close and even beaten some. Plus it's not like we're barely beating these teams. We're blowing all of them out.

I want MSU to win but I also want them to stop wearing those uniforms.

I'm by no means an insider and this is by no means any prediction, but I was talking to two guys tonight that grew up around Jalen and they said IU is his preferred destination as of right now. I know a lot can change between now and his senior year but it's nice to know we seem to be at the top for now.

Fantastic team ball today from start to finish. A couple defensive lapses (4-5). Otherwise, much better D effort again. I would take Olah and Demps as my 7th or 8th guy all day. Good players.

Facts are we look much more focused since Blackmon went down. I hope he recognizes the passion, ball movement and defensive intensity it takes to win. I want him back next year, but I want a meaner, tougher, more determined version. This team has shown we have a plethora of guys to hit shots but defense at this level or any level takes a 5 guy unit. One lazy link kills it.

I don't mean to put all this on him. I think it's bigger, but the "get mine" attitude is contagious.

A proud Hoosier again.

I realize the losses will come but if we are playing team ball with maximum effort, the losses won't bother me AS MUCH.

This is just fun.  Great offense and good defense---a recipe for continued success.
 
Let the commentators continue to underrate us----I like the underdog role.
 
One shout-out today to Juwan Morgan----7 points and 2 rebounds and an assist in ONLY 6 MINUTES.
 
Our freshmen continue to impress--but we have not always given Morgan his due.  I have heard he was battling an injury but he is solid in his own right. He shot a 3 and had a great spin move to name a few plays in limited minutes.
