If this tournament was played 1,000 times we'd win it 8 times? Some reason, I don't think we would win it more than 4 times. Maybe I just can't get over the fact we've never won one, and we always seem to choke away the big games this year.

Interesting that when I (quickly) look at Dayton's past team season stats on their website, they didn't have a FT% of 70+ under Archie at least since before 2013-14. I can understand emphasizing other aspects of the game, and would agree that the better defense, better inside offense and less turnovers you commit (the areas it seems Archie has most improved the team this season), the less help you'll need from free throws. I just hope that if a low FT% is commonplace, that we play efficiently enough in other facets to offset it.

My guess is that if we did anything, it'll be like $10,000 to 2 players and we'll lose two scholarships for about 3 years, if the NCAA/FBI actually starts dropping the hammer. Total speculation. Take this with a shaker of salt. Also a lot of ifs.

I love Archie, but I think Hartman and Durham should have been on the floor rather than Green and Newkirk in such a crucial stretch. Kinda just threw the game away.
