I think (and am hoping) with Trey, Cupps, and X as the primary ball handlers last season, the shooters weren’t put in good spots and the passes were often at the feet or over the head. If we get a true point guard the numbers can improve across the board with better ball movement.

Remember the name Earl Calloway? And how Painter tried talking trash to him during a game and TO. Coaches should be more grown up but quite honestly the shift in Purdue players’ attitudes after they think they’ve accomplished something this tournament is laughable.

The question is how much of our NIL can be used on officials. Purdue must have spent a pretty penny on that after losing to a 16 seed

Number 3 is it. Couldn’t give the untrue fans a chance to voice their displeasure when Indiana State (or anyone else) demolished us by 30 pts, as decent teams tend to do.

shouldn’t the intent of receiving more nil money to be to go out and get better players instead of paying more to keep the guys who got drubbed by Nebraska three times

How does this work behind the scenes? I think he’s gonna fail regardless but how is it determine that six million good enough. If money donors are the reason he is staying and they are committing the resources at least make them go all out and buy the top five picks in next years draft. Why not require 10-20 million or some other wild amount?

Yeah why wouldn’t they run it back. There will never another job he can get making the money they are making without having to produce any results at all.

It’s time to do our part as fans and get after these players in the portal on social media so they don’t want to come here and force a move to be made. After all, we are told that we have that control and we are the problem right? (Post is sarcasm. Not really advocating for social media stalking recruits like Hoosier Hysterics)

Having this plan/vision in place is the administration now good with simply portal recruiting? We can’t possibly get any 25’ HS kids with this vision and there is no incentive for Woodson and coaches to recruit now (not that they were anyways)?

It’s hard to accept that we are now at least two years away from an important selection Sunday now. Only at IU can we hire a chain smoking, wine chugging head coach who can’t be “retired due to health issues”
