    TOM CREAN FIRED

Let me guess, you think this is Crean's fault? How was he supposed to know that GMM would be disqualified? WOW

I think the main point is that we aren't even on the same level as the top 10, not even close. Indiana was embarrassed tonight on a national stage. It's clear we need drastic changes, but it won't be an easy fix.

The only reason we are in this situation is because we expected to have Guy Marc-Michel available as our big man and the NCAA disqualified him. We have zero control over that. It's unfortunate but we just have to get better and play at a high level while we wait for next year.

Except that two games later the #watshot happened.

That was Yogi's biggest contribution of the day. He shut Dunham down in crunch time.   Yogi's D isn't always great, but it seems like when he faces a tall task he turns on another level. One of the better individual defensive performances I've seen in college basketball of late was his D on Stauskas in Btown last year.

Collin Hartman though, I mean who predicted his play? He has been everything we need from him and more. I am just sure we would have lost without him today.   I'm not trying to dog Austin Etherington, because I'm sure he is a really good guy, but Hartman is leaps and bounds better than Austin ever was, and it isn't close.

You could argue that Yogi saved us, but you could argue that if he hadn't made so many bad decisions that we wouldn't have been in that place to begin with. He came through when it mattered though.   Good win today!

So who's going to be the new Coach next year?

If Brad Stevens were to leave Boston for IU, what, if any, players would follow him? It would be nice to pick up Rajon Rondo to pair with Yogi in the backcourt.

    selfish

Most are going to say this is nitpicking, but this play was just one of many where Williams comes off as selfish. It's obvious he didn't make the pass because he wanted the emphatic dunk. I'm not normally one to overreact to something like this, but I really thought it was a bad move. So ya, I did have a problem with it.

    Cuban?

I think this is a joke. I hope this is a joke. Good joke.

Most Costly IU Injuries of All Time

Without question, it is the headache that ailed Mike Davis in 2003.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKXHiUibuKs

Who would you hire to replace CTC?

First, 20% chance of winning makes  no indication of "favorite." If one team has a 20% chance to win and 80 other teams each have a 1% chance to win, who is the favorite? Tiger is the favorite (or was, at least) in every major he plays, but he doesn't have a >50% chance to win.    I totally disagree about IU being the favorite (if you're quoting vegas odds or something, I missed it), but Louisville was the overall #1 seed, just blitzed through their conference tournament, and was playing better than anyone in the country. Who, in the last 5 years, has been a total surprise coming out of the "crapshoot" to win the title? You can argue UConn, but they were playing extremely well as the season ended.    I definitely agree about a "crapshoot" on the whole, upsets are more prevalent than ever these days. Still, the team that wins the Championship has typically not been a surprise. Team's that play well when it matters (March) win, and IU hasn't.
