Buuuuut one more caveat-- he has to be able to beat Durr in a foot race.
I could beat Durr in a foot race and I'm old.

Averaged 15 mpg last year, down from 21 the year before. Don't think limited minutes would be an issue.
Only has one year left, which fits.
Improved his free throw shooting from in the 40% range his first two years, to 70% last year.
Tons of experience in high level games. Knows the physicality of the B1G.
Perfect for what we need. Kid busts his a$$

I am done with "optimism." Optimism gets you 0. I am seeking results.
Granted, Woodson did better than predicted in the portal with 3 top 25 guys. That's Mount Rushmore territory. But let's see where it goes on the court before we start steaking thru the quad.
Okay, you've made your point, AGAIN

I watched one of his games toward the end of the season and he lit it up.

I guess we’ll see how that plays out. Gotta be a big adjustment for programs like Duke, Kentucky and Kansas now that everyone can buy players.
yea, it was a big slap in the face for the cheaters

Thanks very much for sharing Chris. I love how you bring info, but qualify it with a dose of reality. Because it's my impression that there are rarely absolute certainties and I enjoy the hell out of real information, not telling people what they want to hear and pretending it's certain.
Ditto!

1 hour ago, HoosierHoopster said:This is kind of a continuing discussion, I don't mean to beat it to death (it's probably already 6 feet under) but it's not that they're afraid, it's not part of the offensive scheme or sets or system that Woodson runs. You don't shoot by numbers at the bottom of D1 ball because some guys are supposedly afraid to shoot. FWIW Bako started taking more 3's as the season progressed, I'm hoping that, along with the total flop of a season we just had and the public calls for Woodson's firing will get him into the current century, so he / assistants start scheming for outside shooting.
The ones I remember seeing were looks of "I won't hit this" and they don't shoot it. It wasn't because of the system.

There were quite a few 3's not taken by open shooters last year. Hopefully we're getting kids that can hit those shots and aren't afraid to take them.
