I’ve seen you tube videos that say Mike Woodson is making magic and Mike Woodson is reloading. IMO Mike Woodson isn’t doing crap. The billionaire donors are making the magic and reloading for Mike Woodson. I don’t believe he could even field a competitive team without them.

I just hope that IU is ready to do whatever it takes to keep Kentucky from poaching our coach.

I played college baseball for 4 years. Two years on a juco team that was top 5 in the nation my freshman year and anywhere from top 10-15 my sophomore year. I then transferred to a D1 school where I absolutely despised my coach and school. It was mentally draining to play there and I hated every minute of it. I then transferred to an NAIA school so I wouldn’t have to sit out a year. I’ll be the first to tell you that I regrettably only went to school to play ball. I tell you all this because I just can’t understand why, given the state of IU basketball, would recruits want to play here? Especially for a coach who hasn’t demonstrated he can compete against other schools who are recruiting them. I realize they’re getting paid good money, but how long before they look back and regret their decision? Play for a coach you like in offense that fits your style. Don’t be miserable for some extra cash. Okay, I’ll get off my soapbox

IMO anything over an IU scholarship is paying Leal too much and shows just how desperate this staff is.

Watching the last decade of IU basketball has chilled me out. In fact I’m so chilled, I’m numb.

My wife and I walked into an elevator at the hospital today. There was a guy wearing a Purdue shirt and hat. After some good natured back and forth, I said I was really hoping we’d fire Mike Woodson. He said I don’t, I hope he’s there another ten years. That should really tell us all we need to know.

I can’t remember the exact wording, but before they gave Steve Risley the boot from the grueling truth, he basically said MM needs to go somewhere that will use him properly. Did anyone else catch that?

Had we fired Woodson (which we should have) we all would have thought Liam backed out of his LOI because of it. Now we actually know he backed out because we suck.

If Woodson is back for a fourth year, he may do great, but I’d say the odds are about as good as winning the power ball, finding Bigfoot, and those guys actually finding treasure on Oak Island all on the same day.
