strongly disagree. He's a 3 with some 2 tendencies. He's 6'5'', 6'6''. He wouldn't be playing 4 at Indiana. I'm not sure we will get him but the staff wanted a shooter and he is definitely that. Seems they still want a stretch 4 and and a back up 5. Some accounts saying it won't be Indiana but the timing his hard to ignore.

How much does he play? Is he getting 15 min per game? Taking 2-3 a game? This addition should make Stuhoo happy, he's wanted him from day 1. He's a tough kid. A really good high school quarterback. I really, really like this addition but i'll be curious where and how often he plays.

We are going to find out what Dusty May brings to the table. He's having a pretty good portal. I saw Alijah Martin is going to Florida and Davis is likely to highest bidder. UM won't accept him. I like Gayle, he's a good/talented player.

I have 3 boys in the Fort Wayne public schools. One in EL, middle, and high school. Some of you would be surprised on the stuff teachers think is ok to talk about and “teach”. I say, GTFOH with that nonsense. This fanbase loves good basketball and good basketball players of any race. That’s exactly right. I’d like to get TJ Power badly. I don’t see that happening. Imo, the biggest key is don’t leave #13 open and get size there just in case something unforeseen happens to Ballo we must have options. Going to be tricky to finish things off. TJ Power Payne/Malone Foreign player with size. Something like this. I think we are set on guards despite still not having a knock down guy. Gallo, Rice, Carlyle gonna play a bunch. I don’t know what needs to happen but the political slant of all major Universities including Indiana and the not-so-subtle indoctrination therein needs a shift and a reset. Higher education should aim to be apolitical as well, but we all know that isn’t how things have been for a long time. McRobbie opened my eyes to things, and they’ve only been opened wider since.

They don’t recruit that way. They definitely sell starter spots and bench spots. That’s why we weren’t able to get the guard we needed last cycle. It’s why we recruited Peyton Sparks. It’s why we are having a tougher time filling the last 3-4 spots. Now if during practice one of the bench guys outplays a starter, I imagine they would switch but it’s not really Woody’s ways either. Instead of having 10 guys that look like they could be starters and letting the cream rise to the top we recruit tiers. Makes the margin of error in assessment so much more difficult .

That’s part of my concern for Woody’s recruiting pitch. When you target bench guys you get bench guys with less talent. Let’s say he goes hard for TJ Power as a player with starter potential. Maybe he earns it, maybe he doesn’t. but when you are trying to recruit guys happy to be Bench guys you are severely capping your talent on the team. He needs to find a way to figure this out.

Nil Sweepstakes move imo. And projected first round pick??? Fit is hard to see, but I do kinda like the player. Seems like a Woody type of guy.

Would make a lot of sense. Great chance for him to start. A school that rains 3's. Its a no-brainer if I'm CE.

our perceived NIL advantage isn't going to last too long in my opinion. Other schools are figuring it out and will compete with us and overstep us. I hope we can strike while the iron is hot with NIL. We were 10-20 before and and are now top 5 at only 6 million. Compared to football dollars its a drop in the bucket for some of these budgets.

It's not as simple as that. And that (unrealistic expectations) would be a big part of why Stevens doesn't want the job in my opinion. But I would be optimistic each and every off season.

Do what it takes to get Moreno!

Really hope Staff stays after this one. I know the staff wants to limit freshman recruiting but a core of Haralson, Mullins, Moreno would be an awesome core.

Tempers are going to flare on this one. I've got STRONG opinions Re: Politics with IU and therefore try to stay out of all this stuff. The 2 sides will not see each other's side and opinions won't be swayed.
