2015 In-state Recruiting

Look at the in-state top 100 talent available for 2015 per 247sports composite ranking: #37 Jalen Coleman - PG #82 Hyron Edwards - PG #88 Joseph Toye - SF #98 K.J. Walton - PG Since Bryant Crawford (#65) seems to be the likely PG we pick up in this class, which then, potentially, eliminates three of the in-state guys, will people be upset with Crean for not locking down the borders? (Excuse me if I missed some, I'm not sure who is in-state who might be playing for out of state prep schools) How important is in-state recruiting if we're finding premium talent elsewhere? And, how important is keeping KJ if our talent pool is becoming more East Coast based? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

6'4" Guard Nick Zeisloft joins Hoosiers
Yes. Just a prediction, based on recruiting tidbits and coach speak. I firmly believe 2015 is a 3 man class 1 open schollie 0-1 to the league 1-3 transfer/lose scholarship depending upon NBA and the lone open scholarship.
Interesting... 6'4" Guard Nick Zeisloft joins Hoosiers
I hate the 2 year thing but.... We will still have 3 open schollies next year anyway. I won't name them now but it will happen. Also basketball4iu is more impressed with NZeisloft than Priller, April, and Hartman (hopefully). He isn't an impressive signing as no major news site have reported it, but he can be of some help. I am already concerned about Creans substitution patterns.
You're predicting two early departure/transfers? Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.

6'4" Guard Nick Zeisloft joins Hoosiers

I went back I read the article about the new Student-Athlete Bill of Rights, but there wasn't anything about multi-year scholarships that helped clear up our confusion. Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.

Not confirmed, but it looks like Ziesloft has a one year guaranteed scholarship with a promised spot on the roster for the following year. Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.

He made 60 out of 169.
@ZachOsterman: Was a 41.8 percent 3-pt shooter as a freshman. 35.5 percent last season. Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.

6'4" Guard Nick Zeisloft joins Hoosiers

@DustinDopirak: Zeisloft hit 60 3-pointers last season. Yogi Ferrell is the only player on IU's roster who hit more than that. @EvanHoopfer: #iubb will add sharpshooter Nick Zeisloft. He's a 6-foot-4 graduate student who shot 42% from three & 90% from the line last year. Hopefully he can help take some of the pressure to make threes off of our young shooters Edit: Hoopfer incorrectly reported 42% from three. Zeisloft shot 35.5%. 2015 In-state Recruiting

Interesting look at the recruiting classes to come out of Indiana over the last few years, ranked by Oosterman and Neddenriep. @ZachOsterman: How would you rank Indiana's last 10 high school recruiting classes? @KyleNeddenriep and I took a stab at it: http://t.co/TjCEoBrG03 Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.

    Chuck Martin to IU (Official)

If you don't follow him on Twitter, it appears as though he's been biking around campus and stopping to talk with and take pictures with everyone he sees. He's may become a fan favorite pretty quickly once he starts pulling in recruits. Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.

Our five "big" non conference games
Players I am excited or nervous about watching.... Louisville: M. Harrell, Chris Jones, Shaq Aaron, Q. Snider, Onuaku SMU: Mudiay, Nic Moore, Justin Martin Pitt: ??? Georgetown: DSR, Copeland, Trawick Butler: Dunham, Etherington, Roosevelt Jones
Harrell is the opponent I'm least excited to face.
